I got into King’s
Ok. Just to let everyone know, I got into King’s College London to study Computer Science with Business Management.
This is a really exciting development as I will be based right in the very centre of London, I find out where I will be living tomorrow (Waterloo or London Bridge hopefully).
I got AAC in my A-Level results and I hope that others studying for their exams achieved similar success.
Finding your way around
I thought that I’d make a sitemap-esque post for those of you struggling to find your way around the site. So here’s what we’ve got to offer here at MediaRoots!:
We’ve got the about page, details about our target market, contact information (to be built up soon), and some nice linkies…
Enjoy!
Thank you Lucozade
I absolutely love Lucozade and yesterday walking past my local shop I saw that they just launched a new product with added caffeine, I just wanted to say how much this is going to improve my workflow!
I bought a bottle and it tastes pretty nice, sort of like iced lemon or something.
Just bought 5 boxes of the stuff off their online store and I’m off now to buy a bottle while I wait for that to arrive.
Thank you Lucozade!
Fraser recently posted an update on his SuperJam blog. I must say that it is very interesting seeing this young entrepreneur develop and I’m sure that he’ll continue to grow in his success throughout the future. Everyone keep their eyes open! I am certainly watching and anticipating. I think I need to learn some of his tips myself.
We are delighted to announces that after a number of weeks’ development, we have finally launched the new SuperJam website. To feature a regular blog from 18 year old Fraser Doherty himself, the site should turn out to be a great resource for young businesses looking to start out. Please check out the site and enjoy the jam!
Working with a young entrepreneur can have its advantages.
Currently developing a new website for Super Jam company, using the new Creative Suite, we have been working with Adobe Photoshop CS3 extended and Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to build this new website.
We will be going with a minimalistic style and trying to innovate as much as possible. The site will of course include a blog and other features, but we’ll let you know fully once we launch the site.
We always like supporting students and working with new businesses so this project seems perfect for us. If you’d like to work with our training company also, then feel free to contact us and we can discuss it further.
Adobe have just announced that the ‘design premium’ and ‘web premium’ versions of their Creative Suite 3 are now available for purchase.
Naturally MediaRoots is already hard at work producing training for these titles so watch out for the upcoming weeks as we push these products for launch.
The Guardian reports that Alan Johnson - The British Education secretary is demanding that sites such as YouTube filter content showing students bullying other students or teachers. Whilst the idea sounds interesting, I feel that this would compromise the world of free speech that we have on the web, how could you judge not to take down other videos which features just plan violence or racism.
